Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how USDatingFinder.com (“USDatingFinder”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://usdatingfinder.com. We built this Site to help people compare dating platforms. We are not a dating app and we do not ask you to create a dating profile with us.
1. Information we collect
We collect as little as we need to run, secure, and improve the Site.
- Log data: When you load a page, our servers or hosting provider may record your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is standard for operating a website and diagnosing abuse.
- Cookies and similar tech: We may use cookies, pixels, or local storage to remember preferences, measure traffic, and attribute clicks on outbound “Visit Site” links.
- Information you send us: If you use the Contact page, we receive the name, email, subject, and message you submit. Do not send sensitive identity documents or intimate images through that form.
- Approximate location: We may infer a general region (for example, United States) from IP address so we can show relevant dating brands. We do not need your street address to operate the Site.
2. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
- Understand which reviews and listings people actually read
- Measure affiliate clicks so partners can confirm that a visit came from USDatingFinder
- Respond to questions, corrections, and partnership requests
- Detect fraud, scraping, or other misuse
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
3. Cookies, analytics, and affiliate tracking
Like most comparison sites, we use cookies. Some are strictly necessary. Others help us see aggregated traffic (for example, which articles are read). When you click an outbound listing link, a tracking parameter or redirect — including links hosted on partner or network domains — may record that the click originated from this Site. That is how affiliate compensation is attributed. Those third parties have their own privacy policies.
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may break some features, including accurate click tracking. It will not stop you from reading our reviews.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your name or email as a mailing list. We may share information with:
- Hosting, analytics, and security vendors who process data on our instructions
- Affiliate networks and dating brands, limited to click/referral data needed to pay commissions
- Professional advisers or authorities if required by law or to protect the Site and its users
If you follow a link to Match, DateMyAge, OurTime, eharmony, BestDates, Dating.com, Jdate, or any other partner, that company becomes the controller of any data you give them.
5. How long we keep data
Server logs are typically retained for a limited period needed for security and operations. Contact-form messages are kept long enough to respond and, if needed, to document a complaint. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Security
We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website is perfectly secure. Please use unique passwords on any dating service you join and never send money to someone you have only met online.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
8. California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain sharing that California law treats as a “sale” or “share” (which can include some advertising or affiliate cookies). To make a request, use our Contact page and include “California privacy request” in the subject line. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the statutory period, generally 45 days.
We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
9. Visitors outside the United States
The Site is aimed at a US audience and is hosted in the United States. If you access it from another country, you understand that your information may be processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those in your home country. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we process personal data about you, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
10. Do Not Track
The Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals in a uniform way because there is no consistent industry standard. You can still limit cookies through your browser or extension tools.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, partners, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised when we publish a new version. Material changes may also be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, data requests, or to report a concern, visit our Contact page. Please do not include passwords or payment card numbers in your message.
